1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://riverhillsmoving.com and the moving services provided by RiverHills Moving ("RiverHills Moving," "we," "us"). By using this site or booking a move, you agree to these Terms.

2. Who we are

RiverHills Moving is a Texas Hill Country moving company owned by Jackson Williams. Phone (830) 329-7272. Published identifiers are USDOT 3561425, MC-1196218, and TxDMV 009770506C; current status should be verified with the relevant regulator.

3. Services

We provide residential, commercial, senior, packing, labor-only, and long-distance moving services. We service San Antonio, the greater San Antonio metropolitan area, and the surrounding Texas Hill Country communities. Specific scope, pricing, and service area for your move are in your written quote.

4. Quotes and contracts

Our quotes are good-faith estimates based on the information you provide. The binding agreement for your move is the written Bill of Lading or moving contract you sign on or before move day. Quotes may be revised before that signature if scope changes.

5. Deposits, payment, and cancellation

Move-specific deposit, payment, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms are stated in the written estimate or moving contract. Review and accept those terms before booking; this website does not replace the signed agreement.

6. What we will not move

Certain hazardous, flammable, explosive, illegal, perishable, living, or otherwise restricted items may not be accepted. Request the current prohibited-items list before packing.

7. Liability and claims

Valuation, protection, insurance, exclusions, claim procedures, and deadlines are governed by the signed move documents and applicable law. Review those terms before service and submit any claim through the process stated in the agreement.

8. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate access information (stairs, elevators, parking).
  • Secure required parking permits and Certificates of Insurance unless we have agreed in writing to file them on your behalf.
  • Be present (or designate an authorized adult) at pickup and delivery.
  • Disclose specialty items (pianos, safes, hot tubs) before move day.

9. Website use

The content on https://riverhillsmoving.com is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, or republish substantial portions of the site without our written permission. Trademarks, logos, are the property of RiverHills Moving.

10. Disclaimers

The website is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted. Service-page descriptions are illustrative; the binding scope is the signed contract for your specific move.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, our liability for any claim arising from website use is limited to $100. For moving-services claims, our liability is governed by the Bill of Lading, applicable Texas law (including TxDMV and FMCSA mover-registration regulations), and applicable federal law (including the Carmack Amendment for interstate moves).

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Bexar County, Texas under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration award shall be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive relief in the state or federal courts of Bexar County, Texas. Consumer complaints about Texas household-goods movers may also be filed with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) or, for interstate moves, the FMCSA.

13. Class-action waiver

You and RiverHills Moving agree that any dispute will be brought only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
