How we plan property & institutional moves

These moves share one thing: the organization paying for the move is not always the one making the rules about it. A city department answers to a purchasing office and a facilities manager. A property manager moves an office on behalf of an owner. A senior-living community moves residents who have families with opinions. The plan has to satisfy everyone who signs off, so we find out early who they are.

Public offices usually run on purchase orders and weekday windows. We provide an itemized written quote for the purchasing office, fill out the vendor forms it sends, and follow the facility's security procedures, whether that means a sign-in desk, visitor badges, or an escort through restricted areas. What the agency requires of visitors is the agency's decision; tell us and the crew complies.

Property offices move on the leasing calendar. A leasing office or model unit has to stay presentable through the weekend traffic, key cabinets and resident files stay in the manager's hands, and a commercial tenant turnover often has a hard date when the next tenant's contractor arrives. We can clear out furniture a departing tenant left behind, relocate a management office between properties, or stage a model unit, working to the manager's scope.

Senior-living communities have two kinds of move. Office and common-area moves are ordinary commercial work with quiet hours. Resident-room transitions are personal, and they are planned with the resident and family, often with our senior moving team, so a new room is set up with familiar things in familiar places.

We serve offices and properties across Bexar County and the Hill Country, from downtown San Antonio and the Northwest Side to Boerne, Kerrville, and the Kendall and Kerr County seats. Pick your type of organization below to see how its approvals, access rules, and timing shape the plan.

Property & Institutional Moving FAQs

Another question? Call (830) 329-7272.

Can you follow our building security and visitor procedures?

Yes. Tell us what your facility requires of visitors, such as sign-in, badges, escorts, or restricted corridors, and the crew follows it. Those procedures are set by your agency or facility, so we ask for them in writing ahead of the date and plan the crew and timing around them.

Can a property manager book a move on behalf of an owner or tenant?

Yes. Property managers regularly book clear-outs, office relocations between properties, and model-unit setups. We work to the scope the manager approves, confirm who has authority to add or change items on move day, and send the written estimate and invoice to whoever the manager names.

How are resident moves inside a senior-living community handled?

Resident-room moves are planned with the resident and family, separately from any office or common-area work. We can set up the new room with familiar pieces in familiar places, and our senior moving team can help with downsizing decisions before the move date.
